To loop a public YouTube playlist, simply paste the playlist link into the search bar on WatchOnRepeat and hit Enter. The playlist will automatically load, and you can view the queue in the Up Next tab.
Yes, WatchOnRepeat supports looping videos and audio from Twitch, Vimeo, Facebook, Dailymotion, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Wistia, and Loom. Just copy the video URL from any of these platforms and paste it into the search bar at WatchOnRepeat. The tool will automatically extract the media and play it on repeat without interruptions.
Yes, WatchOnRepeat has a built-in A/B looper. Once your video is loaded, you can set a custom 'Start' and 'End' timestamp using the slider controls. The video will then continuously loop only that specific segment, which is perfect for practicing an instrument or studying a lecture.
The official Embedded Player APIs for Twitch, Facebook, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, and Loom do not currently support external playback speed controls. Because of these restrictions, third-party sites like ours cannot programmatically change the playback speed of media from those platforms. Playback speed controls are fully supported for YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Wistia, and your own uploaded local files.
Yes. Premium and Pro users can upload offline MP4, WebM, or OGG video files directly from their computer into the browser. Your actual video file is never saved or uploaded anywhere to ensure 100% privacy. However, you can save a 'Packaged Session' before terminating, which securely saves all your playback settings, loop segments, and notes so you can instantly apply them to your video later. When you reload the session, you will simply be prompted to re-select the video file from your computer to restore everything.
1. Upload a local file (.mp4, .webm, etc.) on your first computer and adjust your loops and notes.
2. Click 'Save Session' to create a Packaged Session, which securely syncs to your cloud account.
3. On your second computer, log into WatchOnRepeat and open the 'Saved Loops' tab.
4. Click on the session. The app will prompt you to select the video file.
5. Simply select the same media file from your second computer's hard drive. The app will instantly restore all your loops and notes!
Note: The file does not even need to have the exact same name. The app will automatically apply your packaged session settings to whichever media file you select!
Our audio recorder lets you record your microphone while the video plays, which is perfect for musicians practicing covers or language learners practicing pronunciation. The audio is stored locally in your browser for privacy and disappears when you refresh the page. You can download your recordings from the "Recorded Audio" tab before leaving.
