WatchOnRepeat was born out of a simple, nagging frustration: the world's greatest educational resource — YouTube — was designed for passive entertainment, not active learning. As musicians and self-taught developers, we found ourselves constantly fighting the video player. We were trying to learn complex guitar solos and new programming concepts, but we spent half our time awkwardly clicking the timeline, trying to rewind a video by exactly three seconds, or losing our place entirely when a new video auto-played.
We realized that existing video looping websites simply hadn't kept up with the times. They were clunky, loaded with intrusive pop-ups, and lacked the granularity needed for serious practice or studying. The internet didn't need another basic "repeat" button; it needed a professional-grade workspace.
Who We Are
We are a small, independent team of software engineers, musicians, and lifelong learners. We aren't backed by massive venture capital firms trying to harvest your data. We are simply builders who wanted a tool that didn't exist yet, so we built it ourselves.
